COURTLAND, Va. (WAVY) — A man was airlifted to the hospital on Wednesday after being run over by a forklift at Carolina Eastern in Courtland.
The Courtland Fire Department says it was dispatched to the agriculture supplier’s 22187 High Street location and confirmed the man was run over by the machinery. It’s unclear at this time how the accident occurred.
A medivac helicopter was requested, and the fire department says the man was taken to VCU Medical Center in Richmond.
