PROVIDENCE, R.I. (NEXSTAR) — For a game that typically increases in popularity among folks as they grow older, you may be surprised to find out that in New England, golf’s becoming increasingly beloved among the younger population.

Founded in 2013, Drive, Chip and Putt is free, nationwide junior golf competition aimed at growing the sport. Button Hole is one of the many qualifying locations in a four-leg, six-month-long journey that culminates at Augusta National, the site of the Masters.
