NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police are investigating a shooting in downtown Norfolk that left two women injured.
Norfolk police officers were dispatched to the the 400 block of Granby Street just just after 1:30 a.m.
Police Sgt. William Pickering Jr. said it is believed the shooting resulted from a fight.
One woman was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, while another woman arrived at the hospital. Their injuries are not life-threatening, Pickering said.
