VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A Virginia Beach man has been charged in connection to a robbery at a local Wells Fargo branch.
Virginia Beach police spokesperson Tonya Pierce said the robbery happened at the branch located at 300 Little Neck Road. Officers were called to the scene just before 9:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Pierce said a suspect with a slim build wearing a light-colored hoodie and a camouflage ball cap entered the bank, approached a teller and gave her a note demanding money.
He was able to get away with cash. No weapon was seen and there were no injuries were reported, according to police.
In a news release Thursday, police said 25-year-old Tyler Perry Miranda was arrested and charged with robbery and possession of a controlled substance.
Miranda is being held at Virginia Beach Correctional Center without bond.
