ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) — Elizabeth City police took a 23-year-old man into custody Monday, who was wanted on felony warrants stemming from an incident last week.
Nasean Jamal Jones was considered “armed and dangerous.”
According to police, officers responded to a shots fired and armed robbery call in the 200 block of Persse Street just after 11 p.m. on May 1.
Jones was identified as the suspect. On May 4, he was arrested on charges of armed robbery, felony larceny of a firearm, destruction, damage, or vandalism of property, discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle and discharging a firearm in the city limits.
He was given a $108,000 bond and transported to Albemarle District Jail.
