NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A teen is facing charges in Newport News for allegedly causing damage to a person’s car, pepper-spraying one man and elbowing another.
Euphori Williams-Johnson, 18, is charged with malicious Injury by acid/explosive/fire, malicious wounding, assault and intentional damage for the alleged incident.
Newport News police say officers were called to the 300 block of Circuit Lane for a report that a female — later identified as Williams-Johnson — had been seen scratching someone’s car with a knife.
Police say a 21-year-old Newport News told officers he told Williams-Johnson, but she turned around and sprayed him with pepper-spray.
A 22-year-old Newport News man tried to get her away from the car, but police say Williams-Johnson elbowed him and tried to cut him with the knife.
