NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man has been arrested in connection to a Friday night shooting in Tidewater Gardens that left two men injured.

Travone Q. Lane, 25, of the 5400 block of Barnhollow Road, has been charged with two counts each of malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. 

The shooting happened just after 6 p.m. in the 1100 block of Mariner Street. Police found two men suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene.

They were both taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. One of the men, a 28-year-old, is still there in critical, yet stable condition.

The other man was treated for non life-threatening injuries and released.

Detectives say Lane and the two victims knew each other, but it’s unclear what led up to the shooting.
