Bianca Holman joined WAVY TV 10 in June 2022 as part of WAVY’s morning anchor team.
She is excited about returning to Hampton Roads. Bianca attended high school on the Peninsula. She comes to WAVY from our sister station KLAS in Las Vegas. While in Las Vegas, she served as the weekend morning anchor and weekday morning reporter. She also won a regional Emmy for her work on a special about social justice and racial discrimination in 2020.
Before making her way west, Bianca was a general assignment reporter in southwest Virginia at WDBJ7.
Before Bianca became a journalist, she was a sixth-grade math teacher in Washington D.C. and Brooklyn, N.Y. Bianca is a proud alumna of Howard University in Washington, D.C. She also has master’s degrees from American University and Columbia University.
