James has wanted be a sports broadcaster since he was 13 years old. Now, he’s so excited to live out that dream in Hampton Roads.
James started his career as a news reporter at his hometown station in Utica, NY. While working in Utica, James completed his Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY Oswego in Broadcasting and Mass Communication. In 2022, James graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University with a degree in Broadcast & Digital Journalism.
Following graduation, James worked as a morning reporter in Buffalo, NY, where he spent time covering breaking news and sports.
When James isn’t working, he loves to cook, sing, and play soccer. He also has worked with the Epilepsy Foundation in the past, which is an organization very close to his heart.
