Cooler temperatures will be around this weekend in the wake of a cool front. We’ll see a NE wind today, at times gusting to 15 or so mph that will keep the temps a little cooler. Lots of sunshine this afternoon though – so enjoy this return to Fall after some almost summer-like days!

Sunday looks to feature mostly sunny skies and temperatures once again in the 60s. Dry weather continues through the weekend.

We’ll have quiet weather again next week, with low 70s to start the week and mid to upper 70s by Tuesday. For Election Day Tuesday, the weather looks fantastic with no impacts, so if you haven’t already – get out and vote!

In the tropics, we’re keeping an eye on the western Caribbean for some potential of development as we head into next week. The most likely area for this to form is in the red area on the map – some ofthe energy from the yellow area could combine into the other area in the red zone and result in a system forming. This system could move into the Gulf next week, but too early to tell strength/impacts. No concerns for us right now but we’ll keep an eye on it!

Elsewhere, in the far northern Atlantic – Subtropcial Storm Patty formed early Saturday morning. Notice the lack of convection around the center of the storm – often a trademark of a subtropical storm. This system will impact the Azores before weakening. Start the countdown! We’re into the last month of Hurricane Season, which ends on November 30th!

Hope you have a great weekend!
