A cloudy Saturday is expected across the area – as onshore flow continues to promote low level clouds across the region. With this, temperatures will be cooler – with highs only in the 60s at the coast. There could be some mist or drizzle at the coast.

Inland, where there won’t be as much of an influence of that onshore flow – temperatures should be a little warmer with highs in the low 70s. We could even see a few breaks in the clouds inland towards Franklin, Gates, and Hertford. This may allow for some isolated/scattered showers to develop late this afternoon. Heavy rain could occur with these.

Sunday will feature mostly cloudy skies and some scattered showers. Pockets of heavy rain will be possible. There is a lot of moisture in the area this weekend and into next week – so heavy rain will become a concern in any storm that pops up. Isolated flooding could occur.

As we head into the work week, we’ll continue to see some scattered rain chances. Highs will climb back into the 80s, with 90s possible by mid to late week. A few storms mid to late week could be strong – especially Thursday as a front moves into the area. Hope you have a great weekend!
