For Saturday, we’ll be dry, chilly, and breezy. High temps will only be in the mid to upper 50s. However, with the wind it will feel like the lower 50s. A deck of clouds will move in during the afternoon hours, creating a partly to mostly cloudy sky for much of the afternoon and into the evening. With this band of clouds also comes another shot of wind. With the NW to W wind, some soundside flooding is possible in the Outer Banks through Saturday afternoon.
If you’re going to the Grand Illumination Parade in Norfolk tonight, expect air temperatures in the upper 40s with wind chill values in the mid 40s.
Skies should clear out overnight, resulting in a morning Sunday temperature in the low 40s to upper 30s. We’ll be dry with less wind on Sunday. High temps will be in the low 60s. Expect a good amount of sunshine through the day, and mainly clear skies overnight as we head into Monday.
Dry and mild to start the week on Monday with temperatures in the upper 60s, close to 70. A few isolated showers will be possible on Tuesday.
As we head towards Thanksgiving, a better chance for rain develops. Showers look likely late Thursday into Thu night. Rainfall totals look to be around 0.50″ to 0.75″ of rain. Breezy Friday, with some additional showers especially in the morning.
It is quiet in the tropics. We have one week to go in Hurricane Season!
Hope you have a great weekend!
