During my eighth week at WAVY-TV-10, I was able to spend a lot of time working on my final project. I also was able to experience “Sales Day,” and undergo a “Lunch and Learn.“ Early in the week, I was able to conduct an interview as a part of my final project, and will begin making an edit for a fifteen-second, Television, promotional spot in the coming week. Producing writing, producing, and editing my Final Project has been an exciting challenge! Experiencing the Sales Department was important for me because I was able to see how important it is to any TV station; it is how they really make their money. The “Lunch and Learn” was a great opportunity to see how to make a reel and follow-up after the end of the internship.
