Cue the tears an uncontrollable sobbing.
Today was the last day of my internship. I dreaded this day all week. I just wanted it to be over so I could go home and prepare myself that it’s over and I have to get back into school mode.
Going into my final semester of college, I am going to branch out and do things that I was previously scared to do. I am finally going to get over my fear of failure and just leap into the land of opportunity.
Working for Wavy taught me that if you want something, you have to go and get because no one is going to hand it to you. You have to put in the work and put yourself out there to be noticed.
Wavy also taught me that a newsroom has so many elements to it and that promotions and the sales department is more interesting than news to me.
This internship has been a serious blessing to me. I can not thank Stephanie Cooke enough for giving me this opportunity.
This internship has taught me things I really did not know about. Showed me things that I will never forget. It has been an amazing ride and i cannot wait to see where life takes me.
Thank you to everyone at Wavy, you guys have changed my life and I will cherish this experience for a lifetime.
