The weather this weekend will be pretty good overall. We’ll just have a few minor speed bumps to contend with. Today won’t be bad, but it will be a bit cool at times. We have high pressure to our southwest.

We’ll have fair skies today with a lot of sunshine in the afternoon. There will be a light westerly breeze. High temps will make it to the mid-upper 50s.

There won’t be any rain today. However, tomorrow there may be some isolated showers. A cold front will drop through the region around midday.

Other than a few spotty showers, I think the region will stay fairly dry. We will all dry out in the afternoon as the front sinks to our south. Temps will warm up before the front arrives to the low 60s.

However, temps will fall to the 50s by the afternoon.

We’ll stay cool and dry on Sunday. At least southeast Virginia will be dry. There may be some spotty showers over northeast North Carolina as some moisture pushes up from the south.

Future Trak doesn’t show much, but some other models have a few showers there. Either way high temps will be in the low-mid 50s.
Before the GFS Model had a low passing just to our south on Sunday. Now it has trended later along with the other models. So now it has it passing to our south on Monday.

Luckily it has trended more south with the low like the Euro model. So southeast Virginia will likely stay dry. However, there will be a few showers pushing up into North Carolina. These could possibly get as far north as the state line, but we’ll see. So check back for updates. Temps will top off around 60.

We’ll be warm and dry for the bulk of next week. Highs will be in the 60s and 70s. Can’t wait!
