(NBC) — NBC’s “The Voice” heads into its next phase on Monday.

The Playoff Round determines who goes to the live shows starting in two weeks and it sees the arrival of some new mentors.

That’s as the number of contestants dwindles on “Deal or No Deal Island,” but the potential prize money rises — a lot.

John Legend brings on the Colombian singer-songwriter Maluma as the playoff-round mentor for his five remaining artists. Each hopes to be among the three singers Legend picks to go to the Live Shows.

Saweetie joins Dan and Shay to dole out guidance and some big-time hugs to their team’s final five artists.

The next stop for singers who make big impressions on Monday — is singing live for America. But no one’s throwing in the towel Monday night.

Time is what they’re running out of on “Deal or No Deal Island.”

Six contestants are still hunting for a season-ending showdown with The Banker. The money at stake in that finale continues to grow, now up to nearly $4.5 million.

“The Voice” airs Monday at 8 p.m. on NBC4, followed by “Deal or No Deal Island” at 10 p.m.
