PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Ready for a day of shopping for fun treasures to benefit charity? Look no further than the Smithfield Woman’s Club annual flea market, featuring everything from home decor to gardening supplies and clothes. All proceeds collected go toward local charities, such as the Smithfield fire department and libraries, and national charities such as St. Jude’s and Operation Smile.
If you are interested in attending the event, it is happening Saturday, March 23, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Smithfield Center, 220 N Church Street in Smithfield. Additionally, if you would like to donate to the sale, please drop off your clean and damage-free items at the same location March 22 between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
