PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — The PanCAN PurpleStride Walk brings awareness to pancreatic cancer, which is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S. John O’Grady is the Purple Stride HR Chair and shared some details on this year’s event.
The 11th annual PanCAN PurpleStride Hampton Roads Event and Walk is this Saturday, April 27 at Chesapeake City Park. It will be kicking off at 8 a.m. It will celebrate all of those that have been affected by pancreatic cancer. For more information go to purplestride.org/hamptonroads.
