PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — The Urban League of Hampton Roads has a mission that helps provide comprehensive resources and steadfast support in critical areas such as education, employment, finance, health and housing. One of the many ways that the ULHR is able to do this is through a maritime internship initiative between the vast local maritime industry and our local HBCU’s. Gil Bland and Lafayette Robinson III joined HRS with details about the partnership between ULHR, Norfolk State University and our local maritime industry.
