PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Summer is winding down, but that doesn’t mean things are slowing in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The annual Outer Banks Kite Festival is coming up as well as Brewtag! Kitty Hawk kite founder and owner, John Harris and Mitch Classen with R.A. Hoy Heating and Air Conditioning joined HRS with the details on these two festivals. If you’ve not heard about Brewtag, think flying kegs. Brewtag contestants will be competing to see who can launch and fly an empty 1/6 keg barrel the farthest.
