PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — This local woman’s journey has taken her from a nurse, to a patient and now a heart health advocate. Megan Buchholz passion for women’s health led her to a nomination for the Hampton Roads Woman of Impact with the American Heart Association Go Red for Woman campaign. It was during that campaign when she found out that she had atrial fibrillation, herself. She continues to get the message across to woman that health, especially heart health, is important.
