PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — We’re in the Hampton Roads Show kitchen today with Chef Wes Stepp from Red Sky Cafe in Duck, N.C. He has an assistant, Sonya who is gluten-free, so he’s making a special dish: Pan-Seared Salmon and Gluten Free Mac & Cheese with Fire Roasted Sweet Red Pepper Cream. 

Chef Wes has been on a little hiatus from the show and his restaurant while working in Pennsylvania.

Wedding season is here and he’s gearing up for special events on the Outer Banks with his daughters Jackie and Allie at Red Sky Cafe.

He continues to promote his book, Tastefully Fit, offering clean food and meal prep.

Chef Wes is competing in the Super Chef Competition next week in Hershey, PA -all proceeds go to Alzheimer’s Association.
