PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Call it the power of teamwork, unity, and the belief that anything is possible. Thomas Hicks and Hannah Gosey became the first all-adaptive duo team to complete The Boston Marathon yesterday. Hicks, an accomplished runner and seven time Boston Marathon participant was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2008. Hicks teamed up with Hannah Gosey, who was diagnosed with hurler syndrome at just 4 months old. The duo was representing Ainsley’s Angels.
