PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – In the past seven years, Tommy White has taken in over 250 injured or orphaned bald eagles. This year, he will have released 100 of those eagles back into the wild. It’s baby season and White, who founded Altons’ Keep Wildbird Rescue and Rehabilitation Center in Suffolk, is busy with eagles, hawks, owls and just about anything that flies. White is always looking for volunteers and those who wish to make a donation to keep these majestic birds in the air. Find him on Facebook at Altons’ Keep Wildbird Rescue and Rehabilitation Center or find him on the web at altonskeepwrrc.org.
