USFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Last year, we featured Mr. Peanut on Discovering Hampton Roads, where we learned Amedeo Obici was the man behind it all.
Now, we get to see where he and his wife Louise lived during their time in Suffolk.
The Obici House (or should I say mansion) is used for dozens of weddings and other private events throughout the year.
On Thursday evenings, you can enjoy fine dining at the Obici House Restaurant, while gazing at the beautiful sunset across the Nanesmond River.
For all the soon-to-be-brides in the area, the staff is hosting a free bridal event at the house on March 31 from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.
