NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center is looking for volunteers to help them do some spring cleaning and get a mini makeover on Saturday.
The open house and volunteer event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and they’ll have a face painter available for the kids from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
During the event, they plan to clean out their cat carriers and humane traps, pick up litter from their grounds, spruce up their planters and paint their new storage shed.
