SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The Suffolk Spring Clean Up was originally scheduled for this weekend on May 18, but had to be canceled due to weather.

The new date for the clean up is scheduled for June 1 at Sleepy Hole Park. The clean up is put on by Nansemond River Preservation Alliance.

Volunteers are expected to help with the Native Garden and improve mulch, lay timbers, cut limbs, weedwhack, move rocks, etc.
