RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A 16-year-old boy is dead and three are injured after a shooting that took place on Jennie Scher Road, according to the Richmond Police Department.

At around 3:18 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, officers were called to the 1400 block of Jennie Scher Road for the report of a shooting. When they arrived on scene, they found two adults and two juveniles down outside the residence.

According to police, one of the juveniles, a 16-year-old boy, of Richmond, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death, according to authorities.
