HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Two teenagers have been arrested in connection to a robbery and carjacking that happened Tuesday evening in Hampton, police say.

Hampton police said in a news release dispatchers received a call about an incident in the parking lot of a Goodwill the 1900 block of Saville Row.

Police said an investigation found a 28-year-old Poquoson woman was sitting in her vehicle when two suspects approached her, pulled out guns and demanded her vehicle.

The suspects drove away toward West Mercury Boulevard.

Officers responded to that area, where they quickly located the woman’s vehicle. Police said the suspects ran from the vehicle after officers tried to stop them.

Two 14-year-old Hampton males were arrested following a short foot chase, police said.

The teens have been charged with carjacking, of a firearm in commission of a felony and conspiracy to commit a felony.
