NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Three people were displaced from their home after a two-story apartment building caught fire off Druid Circle on Tuesday. 

Norfolk Fire officials say their units arrived to the scene at 6:45 p.m. and found the fire in a first-floor bedroom of the building. 

The fire was under control by 7:02 p.m. and there were no injuries reported from the incident, according to officials. 

Smoke detectors alerted the occupants, officials say. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation and the displaced residents are being helped by the Red Cross.
