VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach Fire crews worked to put out a multifamily residential fire that occurred on Sunday evening.
The call came in at 5:50 p.m. for a fire in the 2200 block of East Berrie Circle near the Chic’s Beach area.
Upon arriving on the scene, the home had smoke and fire coming from it; firefighters requested more assistance.
The fire was marked under control just after 6:10 p.m.
Three individuals are displaced from the fire and need housing assistance.
No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
No further information is available at this time.
