13 face federal drug, gun charges in Myrtle Beach-based investigation

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — More than a dozen people from across South Carolina are facing federal drug and gun charges after a nearly yearlong law enforcement operation.

Authorities announced 13 indictments against the following people at a news conference Monday morning in Myrtle Beach:


The FBI’s Columbia field office joined with area law enforcement agencies last February in response to rising violent crime in and around Myrtle Beach, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. Authorities said they targeted members of street gangs including the Rollin’ 90s Crips, G-Shine Bloods and Gangster Disciples.
