YORK-POQUOSON COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — A Bowlero employee from Newport News was arrested for allegedly stealing $60,000 from the Yorktown location.

On Jan. 20, the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of an employee from the Bowlero Bowling Alley, located at 4200 George Washington Memorial Highway, for embezzling money.
Investigators were assigned to the case and determined that between August 2024 and January 2025, the employee hired to manage the bowling league funds had stolen in excess of $60,000.
On March 18, investigators arrested 47-year-old Stephanie Lynn Van Dusen and charged her with embezzlement over $1,000.
