RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department is searching for a suspect who allegedly doused a cat with accelerant and set it on fire.
At around 9:45 p.m. on Jan. 13 at the 4100 block of Richmond Highway, a cat was doused with accelerant and set on fire, according to the Richmond Police Department.
According to Richmond Animal Care and Control, the cat died at the scene and was found to have second and third-degree burns over 60% of its body.
