Osby was then observed talking to another individual with a partially concealed handgun in his pants pocket visible. As officers approached Osby, he ran back towards his vehicle, throwing a cellphone and a loaded .40 caliber semiautomatic handgun to the side. Osby was apprehended shortly after.

According to the document, investigators were able to recover a 9mm semiautomatic handgun, a shotgun cartridge, two digital scales and drug paraphernalia from Osby’s vehicle. Over 20 grams of cocaine were found in Osby’s pocket.

Osby, who was previously convicted in 2019 for possession with intent to distribute cocaine and heroin, is not able to legally possess a firearm or ammunition.

On June 25, Osby pled guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
