NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Newport News police are investigating a triple shooting Thursday morning that left one victim dead.
It happened around 10:52 a.m. in the area of 74th Street and Roanoke Avenue. Police say they found two of the victims, both men, at the scene with gunshot wounds. One was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say a third victim, a juvenile male, was also shot and later arrived at the hospital. His injuries are potentially life-threatening.
No suspect information is available at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
