NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The Norfolk Police Department responded to a shooting Monday afternoon on Glen Myrtle Avenue.
According to officials, around 3:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 8600 block of Glen Myrtle Avenue for reports of a gunshot disturbance.
While investigating the scene, officers were notified around 5 p.m. of a 21-year-old man who had arrived at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with a non life-threatening gunshot wound. Detectives were able to determine that these two incidents are connected.
The incident remains under investigation.
