NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police said they are investigating a shooting that took place Monday afternoon on Glen Myrtle Avenue.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the 8600 block of Glen Myrtle Avenue around 3:35 p.m. for reports of a gunshot victim.
Officers arrived to the scene and found a 30-year-old man suffering from a non life-threatening gunshot wound and a 17-year-old female suffering from a minor injury caused by broken glass.
WAVY photojournalist Rob Rizzo captured an image of the scene, showing multiple evidence markers placed throughout the road.
The incident remains under investigation.
