NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk Police Department investigated an early morning shooting Thursday near Wards Corner, police said.
Dispatch said just before 3 a.m., officers received a call about a gunshot victim on the 500 block of Grantham Road. A man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators were seen going in and out of a home at the intersection of Grantham and Ruthven Roads. Two people were detained at the scene.
