HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Six people were displaced after a home in Hampton caught fire Friday night.
Hampton fire officials said in a tweet firefighters were called to the home in the 60 block of Henry Street around 9 p.m. The fire was out in less than 30 minutes, according to the tweet.
Six people — three adults and three children — were helped by the Red Cross.
The tweet said the fire, which started around the fireplace, appeared to have been accidental.
