NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — It’s been almost two years since someone shot and killed 33-year-old Sean Clinton in Newport News.

That someone is still on the loose, and now, Sean’s family wants your help to track that person down.

“These people, they don’t know they have devastated me. I have been actually ripped apart. It’s like I’ve gotten killed,” Sean’s mother, Rosebud Parker, told 10 On Your Side.

Since losing her son, Parker says she can’t think straight and has lost 70 pounds.

“They took my baby from me and didn’t care, didn’t care that he had a family, didn’t care that he had them little children. I want my baby back so bad!”

Police found Clinton shot in the chest in front of the apartment complex where he lived in the 4600 block of Marshall Avenue on December 18, 2016.

They also found his cousin across the street at the Happy Shopper gas station. He was also shot, but lived.

Two men were seen running from the area.  “And they out there getting up and living their life like it’s nothin’ and they just go out and kill people,” Parker cried.

It’s not right, she told WAVY.com, and not fair to the three daughters Clinton left behind.

Their smiling faces bring Parker both joy and pain. When she looks at their faces she sees Sean —
and she could no longer look at herself in the mirror without speaking out for him.

“I don’t want to say that I didn’t do anything to get him some justice,”

Police say they have been working some leads but they need more.

If you saw or heard anything on that night or since that would help, police want you to call 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or text to CRIMES (274637).  You do not have to give your name.
