FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Investigators are asking the public to help them find a missing teenaged girl, the Fayetteville Police Department said Wednesday.
Police said 17-year-old Lauren Hawkins was last seen in the area of Gaffsail Drive in Fayetteville.
According to investigators, Hawkins is about 5’7 and 140 pounds, and has brown eyes, black hair possibly in locks to her back, a medium build, a small mole on the right side of her nose, a scar on her right arm by her elbow and a septum nose piercing with a silver ring.
Officers said Hawkins also has a tattoo on the back of her forearm that states “God is within her, she will never fail” in black and red letters.
Hawkins was last seen with a black and white bag, according to the police department.
Investigators said they believe she may be in Spartanburg, South Carolina or Boiling Springs, South Carolina, which is just outside of Spartanburg.
