HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (WAVY) – Inventory is flying off the shelves at Farm Fresh locations, with some items at 70 percent discounts, as the retailer prepares to close their doors for good.
In March, the supermarket announced the sale of 21 stores to Food Lion, Kroger and Harris Teeter. The closures will affect roughly 2,600 jobs.
By the end of the week, nine Farm Fresh stores will shut down. All stores will close by May 14.
