Kaunas, Lithuania (NBC) – More than 180 women competed on a stage in Europe to see who has the longest locks.

Organizers of Lithuania’s annual “world’s longest hair competition” held their contest Sunday.

The competition is now in its ninth year.

Many of the contestants had combed out hair more than three feet long.

Participants ranged in age from one to 80. The winner was a 26-year-old whose hair came down below her knees. It measured more than five feet, one inch long.

The winner was awarded an all-expenses paid trip for two to the European parliament in Strasbourg or Brussels.
