Chesapeake Regional Medical Center recognized in national report

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Chesapeake Regional Medical Center has been ranked in the top 15 hospitals in Virginia, according to a report from the 2024-2025 U.S. News & World.

The hospital was determined to be “high-performing” in seven adult procedures and conditions including: heart attacks, heart failures, strokes, colon kidney failures, colon cancer surgeries, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD, and Pneumonia.

“High Performing” is the highest award a hospital can earn for U.S. News’ Best Hospitals Procedures & Conditions ratings, and signifies that a procedure or condition is in the top 10-20% nationally, according to the hospital.

“These honors are a direct reflection of the award-winning patient care Chesapeake Regional Medical Center provides to our community,” said Reese Jackson, President & CEO, of Chesapeake Regional Healthcare. “Our physicians, clinicians and team members are dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality care.”
