CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — The Centerville Turnpike Bridge has reopened after being stuck in its open position for hours on Wednesday.
Chesapeake officials announced the closure just after 6:30 a.m. and said the bridge reopened just before noon. They didn’t say what caused the issue.
The bridge have a major reopening earlier this year after months of repairs, but additional work closures have happened since then.
