CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — The Chesapeake Fire Department responded to a two-story garage fire in Chesapeake on Sunday.
The call came in around 3:50 p.m. after reports of smoke and flames showing from a structure in the 1100 block of Lane of Promise Road. Crews arrives within nine minutes, officials said, and found a two-story detached garage heavily involved in fire. Crews deployed hose lines and the reported under control around 4:20 p.m.
The house sustained minor damage and will not cause the residents to be displaced, officials said. No reports of injuries.
