CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Two people were shot at a large party on Flintshire Drive in Chesapeake Friday night, police said.
One man has life-threatening injuries and a woman who was shot has non life-threatening injuries, police said.
Officers responded to a call for gunshots at a large party in the 1900 block of Flintshire Drive around 9:08 p.m., and when they arrived, they found two people who had been shot, police said, and both were taken to the hospital.
10 On Your Side’s Michelle Wolf said there is a large police presence on Flintshire Drive, and neighbors said they heard gunshots.
A forensic unit was also at the scene.
Police said the incident is an active investigation.
