UPDATE: The Chesapeake Police Department said Jacob Skeates was located safely by police at 9:27 p.m. Tuesday.
CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – The Chesapeake Police Department and Virginia State Police are searching for Jacob Skeates, a missing 19-year-old with autism.
Skeates was last seen at his home in the 1200 block of Chesapeake Avenue around 3 p.m.
Skeates is about 5-foot-8-inches tall with brown hair and weighs around 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue pajama shirt, and gray pajama pants with characters on them.
Anyone with any information about Skeates’ location is asked to call police. VSP officially shared a missing person’s alert to cell phones at 9:14 p.m. Tuesday.
