VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to a fire at around 3 p.m. at the Eastwood Village Apartments on March 14.

Crews arrived to find smoke and flames coming from a fence that spread quickly to the apartment structure. The fire was under control at 3:15 p.m. and marked out at around 3:18 p.m. Three adults evacuated the apartment.

Management is working to assist them with relocation. It is believed to have started from a moped that was recently ridden and parked against the wooden fence.
